The 2027 Mercedes-Benz GLC EV
An all-new, purpose-built electric SUV, now at Kunes Auto Group in Delavan, Wisconsin.
The 2027 Mercedes-Benz GLC EV is a genuine first for the model: an all-new, purpose-built electric SUV rather than an electrified version of the gas GLC. Riding on a dedicated EV platform, it brings long range, fast charging, and Mercedes-Benz luxury to one of the brand's most popular shapes. Here is what is new, how it is equipped, and what carries over as you shop the electric GLC at Kunes Auto Group in Delavan, Wisconsin.
What's New: An All-Electric GLC
Everything is new. The electric GLC is built from the ground up as an EV, with a longer wheelbase that adds a bit more rear-seat room than the gas model. The launch GLC 400 4MATIC pairs a 94-kWh battery with 483 horsepower and more than 400 miles of range on the European cycle, and fast charging is a strength: at up to 330 kW it can go from 10 to 80 percent in about 22 minutes. Standard equipment includes 20-inch wheels, an illuminated grille surround, and a panoramic roof, with an available 39.1-inch MBUX Hyperscreen and a Vegan Package for the interior. A single-motor GLC 300+ EV with 369 horsepower follows in early 2027.
How It Fits the Lineup
The electric GLC expands the lineup rather than replacing the gas model. For 2027 the GLC family spans gas, performance AMG, and this new fully electric model, so shoppers can choose the powertrain that fits them. Mercedes had not announced pricing for the electric GLC at the time of writing. Because final figures, trims, and EPA range are still being confirmed, talk with the team at Kunes Auto Group about availability and details.
