The 2027 Subaru Getaway is a milestone for the brand: an all-new, three-row, fully electric SUV built for families who want space, capability, and zero tailpipe emissions. Everything is new. The Getaway is a three-row electric SUV powered by dual motors making 420 horsepower with standard all-wheel drive, good for a 0-to-60-mph sprint in under five seconds. The long-range model pairs a 95.8-kWh battery with an estimated 300-plus miles of range, and a standard-range version with a 77.0-kWh battery follows in the first half of 2027. Charging is handled through a native NACS port, with DC fast charging up to 150 kW taking the battery from 10 to 80 percent in about 30 minutes.

The Getaway is designed to haul people and gear. It seats up to seven across three rows, offers 45.6 cubic feet of cargo space behind the second row (and 15.9 cubic feet behind the third), and can tow up to 3,500 pounds. With 8.3 inches of ground clearance, it keeps a bit of the go-anywhere attitude Subaru buyers expect, now in a roomy, electric package.
