The 2027 Volkswagen lineup is led by the second-generation Atlas, with a new look, a stronger turbocharged engine, and a more upscale cabin, and followed by the Atlas Cross Sport later. The ID. Buzz returns with new trims, the Taos adds a Sport trim, and the Tiguan, Jetta, and Golf family pick up targeted updates. The Atlas is fully redesigned, with a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder making 282 horsepower, standard real wood décor, standard ambient lighting, a 10.25-inch digital gauge cluster, a 12.9-inch touchscreen (with a 15-inch display on higher trims), and seven USB-C ports. The Atlas Cross Sport follows with the same engine and its signature sloped roofline, arriving in early 2027. The ID. Buzz electric microbus returns with a new camping-ready Tourer trim (with a fold-out mattress and platform) and available 4Motion all-wheel drive. The Taos adds a sportier Sport trim, and the Golf R brings back its Black Edition.

Across the lineup, Volkswagen bundles its premium connected services into a single In-Vehicle Premium subscription, and Travel Assist adds assisted lane changes and predictive cruise control. The Tiguan gets a sharper rear-view camera and standard Auto Hold on every trim. The Jetta S and Sport gain more standard equipment, and the Jetta GLI goes automatic-only with the seven-speed DSG.
