2025 CADILLAC CT5-V AND CT5-V BLACKWING: A FUSION OF ELEGANCE AND POWER

Cadillac unveiled the 2025 iterations of its luxury sport sedans, the CT5-V and CT5-V Blackwing. These models, introduced back in January, continue to exemplify Cadillac's commitment to combining bold craftsmanship, cutting-edge technology, and exhilarating performance. Craftsmanship and Design

2025 CT5-V

The 2025 CT5-V showcases a fresh front-end design, accentuating its dynamic fastback profile. The wider, lower appearance is complemented by a redesigned grille, front fascia, black moldings, rocker extensions, and spoiler. The vehicle also features Cadillac’s stacked signature vertical LED lighting with unique Mondrian pattern etching. Enhancements include walk-up and walk-away lighting choreography, three new color options (Drift Metallic, Deep Space Metallic, Typhoon Metallic), a lit Cadillac Crest on the back of the 33-inch-diagonal LED display, and quad trapezoid exhaust tips.

2025 CT5-V Blackwing

The CT5-V Blackwing takes boldness a notch higher with its redesigned front fascia featuring aero ground effects and front fenders. It shares the same new lighting design, walk-up features, color options, and the lit Cadillac Crest as the CT5-V. Additionally, it boasts updated Carbon Fiber Packages, including a splitter, and quad trapezoid exhaust tips.

Technology

The centerpiece of both models is the 33-inch-diagonal LED color touchscreen display. This state-of-the-art feature brings a tech-forward ambience with a customizable interface, enhancing the overall user experience. Key technological advancements include:

  • An enhanced in-vehicle Performance Data Recorder, offering detailed lap analysis, a new user interface with performance analysis features, Speed Tips tool, and a live data screen.
  • The introduction of a Head-Up Display, providing critical lap time details and lap delta graphics.
  • Access to the AliveDrive mobile application for comprehensive performance analysis.
  • The new Performance in-vehicle app, showcasing real-time power, torque, and an array of performance gauges.
  • Super Cruise driver assistance technology with new Driver Attention Assist, providing hands-free driving on compatible roads.
  • Integration of Google built-in, including Google Assistant, Google Maps, and Google Play.
  • Refined HVAC controls with interactive animations.

Both models retain the power and performance synonymous with the V-Series, aligned with Cadillac’s philosophy of isolated precision for a smooth yet engaging driving experience.

2025 CT5-V

The CT5-V is equipped with a 3.0TT engine producing 360 horsepower and 405 lb-ft of torque, coupled with a 10-speed automatic transmission. It offers an available All-Wheel Drive system for enhanced stability and control.

2025 CT5-V Blackwing

The Blackwing variant steps up the game with a 6.2L Supercharged V-8 engine, delivering a staggering 668 horsepower and 659 lb-ft of torque. This model offers a choice between a 6-speed manual or a 10-speed automatic transmission. It features standard Brembo brakes, Performance Traction Management, Custom Launch Control with Line Lock, and Magnetic Ride Control with Electronic Limited Slip.
