Fair Details Worth Knowing
The 177th Walworth County Fair runs Wednesday, September 2 through Monday, September 7, 2026, at the historic Walworth County Fairgrounds in Elkhorn. This year's theme, "Glitter and Gold: A Fair to Behold," celebrates the timeless magic of the fair along with a special milestone: the 60th anniversary of the Fairest of the Fair contest.
As one of Wisconsin's largest and oldest county fairs, there is something happening around every corner of the 99 acre grounds. A few highlights to plan around:
- Livestock exhibits, agricultural displays, and hands-on educational classes in Barnyard Adventure
- Daily butterfly releases the whole family will love
- World class Grandstand entertainment, a carnival midway, rides, and games
