So no one faces cancer alone – Gilda’s Club is a place where men, women and children whose lives have been touched by cancer, as well as their families and friends can feel they are part of a welcoming community of support. Since 1998, more than 5,000 individuals and families have visited our Clubhouse in either Davenport or Moline or our outreach in Muscatine and Clinton. Feeding America Eastern Wisconsin is an independent and local nonprofit organization. We fund local programs only, meaning every dollar donated stays right here in our local community. But as a member of the national network of 200 Feeding America food banks, we have access to donated product and additional resources that make us a stronger, more effective food bank
Youth life Builders (YLB) Mission is to provide summer program scholarships to low income and at-risk students entering grades 7-10 in South Central Wisconsin, to help with their development and personal growth. scholarships will target programs that focus on fostering a sense of belonging, inclusion and self-esteem.
Programs would be chosen that cater to the students interests and passion. This could include the arts, athletics, team building, or outdoor experiences. These summer camps would expose the scholarship recipient to new experiences, people and ideas, helping to build a foundation for success in other aspects of their life.

BIFF is a ten-day tribute to the power of film and the excitement of independent film from around the world. Local residents and visitors from across the nation fill venues, ranging in size from 40 to 400 seats for more than 100 films, and to meet scores of filmmakers who come from throughout the U.S. and as far away as Europe, Asia and Latin America.
BIFF celebrates filmmakers in all genres—features, documentaries, shorts— who enjoy the Beloit setting as much as the attendees do. BIFF promises crowds of interested viewers filling venues, questioning them at the films, and stopping them on the street to talk about their shared passions and projects in independent filmmaking.
Rock County Restorations Substance Abuse Recovery Center is a 501(c)(3) serving Rock County, WI., and the Stateline area. Rock County Restorations Substance Abuse Recovery Center, currently offers nonresidential recovery services. We offer Restore recovery support groups on Tuesdays 7pm – 8pm. Our goal is to open our long-term residential recovery center. Our facility will provide a safe place for women for long-term recovery from drug and alcohol abuse while focusing on restoring lives through the love of Jesus Christ.
Our planned facility will serve women 18 years and older. Though a faith-based program, we will not discriminate against religious or spiritual views.
Our goal is to provide hope for those suffering from addiction, using individualized, supportive, and compassionate care while sharing the love of Jesus Christ. Our substance abuse recovery center will focus on treating each client’s underlying core problems to help them heal emotionally, spiritually, mentally, and physically. Our goal is to provide the tools needed to achieve and sustain recovery.

April is Child Abuse Prevention Month, and Agape House is excited to announce
our 10th annual 5K Run, Walk, Roll, or Stroll is Saturday, April 27th. This
year's theme, ""Walk for Redemption"" draws inspiration from a guiding scripture
found in Lamentations 3:58, “You Lord took up my cause, you Lord redeemed my
life”. This theme reflects our unwavering dedication to instilling hope and
fostering healing for individuals who have faced abuse and trauma.
Eternal Word Ministries has been founded by Pastor John Rajiah, a man of God used in the Body of Christ today.
He received his theological training from the Bible College of Wales in England for 2 years and went to America to complete his studies.
Pastor John is an anointed preacher of the Word of God, regularly invited to minister in conferences, church seminars and also teach in Bible Schools.

The first version of the summer reading program was started in the spring of 1931. The library purchased 300 "Books I Have Read" booklets and sponsored a reading contest for school children. Awards were offered and the booklets were sold to the children for five cents each. The program ran from April through most of the summer. It was open to schoolchildren from fourth to eighth grade that had Silvis Library cards. The board provided entertainers in August for the participants, and prizes were awarded.

The ATC collects donated items from the community such as new or very gently used clothing, shoes, winter jackets, boots, hats, gloves, books and toiletries. We also collect school and cleaning supplies. These items are then distributed, free of charge, at giveaway drives held thrice annually.
